Taylor Swift shares Grammy performance to celebrate #HappyBirthday1989 and #1989Muse Harry Styles!

To celebrate 1989's first birthday, Taylor shared the video of her performance at the GRAMMY Museum on 9/30. More info on the performance and her exhibit at the museum at the source.

Intro to her performance: I'm gonna play you a song that I wrote about a relationship that... at the time, the number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety, um, because it felt very fragile, at the... at the time it felt very, um, tentative. And it always felt like, "OK, what's the next roadblock? What's the next thing that's gonna... that's gonna deter this? Are we ever... Are we ever going to be okay? What's... How long do we have together before it's just too much and we have to break up because there's too much standing in our way? Is it a month? Is it three days?" And so, you know, I think a lot of relationships can be very solid and that's kind of what you hope for--solid and healthy, but that's not always what you get. Sometimes that's not how it starts. Sometimes the start isn't butterflies and feeling wrapped up in your own little world, sometimes you get fear, sometimes you get caught up in forces you can't control. And, um, it doesn't mean that it's not... special and extraordinary, to have a relationship that's fragile and somehow meaningful in that fragility and in that way you look forward to the future. So this is the song that I wrote with Jack Antonoff, it's called Out of the Woods.

Her voice is really phenomenal in this performance. Stronger than I expected honestly. She needs to make an indie album.

Please!!! Her voice is so suited to indie. I swear she was going that route when she started messing around with Matty.

I bet she could re-release 1989 with only acoustic covers and it'd do really well. But Ryan Adams' version is OK too, I guess!!!

yawn. sad that the media keeps pushing all these bland medicore white girls on us when true queens exist and will never get recognition. i'm getting particularly tired of hearing about squints mcgee over here.

Red is still my #1 favorite but 1989 is her best album to date overall. It's cohesive and just perfectly Taylor.

no shade but i have a hard time believing either of these kids are straight. i've heard so many stories about him at different gay clubs in the uk lol. but anyway how much you want to bet they'll be engaged in time for their next big project and just quietly never marry?
